SEPTEMBER 2019 Live Training Recap… WOW!
Wow another amazing live training is in the books! We are so excited for Coach Lawrence, Coach Vee & Sabrina, Coach Stacey, and Coach Adriana.
These new business owner/ coaches came to use from all types of backgrounds including, Corporate Insurance, Acting and Movie Producing, Tennis Professionals and Corporate America. What a great diverse group.

Coach Lawrence- California- From Actor To Tennis Time Business Owner- Coach
Hello, my name is Lawrence Adisa and I’m born and raised in NY, and now living in sunny Los Angeles for the past 20 years. Growing up in NY I always loved playing sports and having fun with my friends. After graduating high school I really didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life until I saw a commercial on TV about “how to become an actor” and bingo, that was it, acting! So I started to pursue my acting career spending a lot of time Manhattan taking acting classes. I must say it paid off, I was able to book a number of TV and movie roles and before I knew it, I was a working actor. My agent at the time recommended that I head out to LA because there are tons of more roles for me compared to NY so, at the age of 25, I was off to LA. I left my family and friends behind to continue my dream!
The next 20 years in LA have been awesome professionally, but nothing compares to meeting my wife Camille and starting a family! I’ve been married for over 5 years now with 2 kids, Zeniyah (13) and Mazin (6 months). After giving over 25 years of my life to showbiz, I wanted to try another career that still gave me the flexibility that I was used to but more consistent and with hard work great earning potential. That’s when I discovered Tennis Time, I knew that this is what I wanted to do next and I wasted no time in getting started. I wanted a new career that wouldn’t have me stuck in an office from 9-5 with a boss looking over me. I already love tennis, golf and kids so Tennis Time was a perfect fit!

JULY TRAINING RECAP- COACH AVERY & TAMELA!!
WOW! Our second amazing LIVE training for JULY 2019 is now complete! We had two great coaches come into town to launch there new kids sports Tennis Time business! Coach Avery is just the coolest guy. He comes from a background working with disabled in hospital settings and will be getting his son into the business. Coach Tamela is flat out a superstar in the making. She came into town with her husband and 6 year old daughter. What a great family and as many of you know we welcome everyone you want to bring to our live trainings.

My name is Tamela Funchess. I have a wonderful husband of 14 years, Chris, and we share our beautiful 5 year old daughter, Amaris. I was born an raised in Texas were I currently reside. Personally, I love cooking, traveling, juicing, and talking to others about healthy lifestyle choices. Professional, my background is very diverse. My undergrad is in Hotel and Restaurant Mgmt, I have a MBA, I am a certified health coach, and I taught grades 6-12 for 12 years. Currently, I am the Director of Child Nutrition for a local charter school.
While I have enjoyed my career in the education industry, I’m at a point in my life where I want to be in control over my own destiny. I chose Tennis Time because out of all the franchises I reviewed, it seems to be the one most aligned with my lifestyle and values. I feel strongly about the fight against childhood obesity and know that keeping children active is important. Also, I am comfortable working with children and hope that by owning my own Kids Sports business, I will empower my daughter to think outside the box and find a career that makes her happy.
