Coach Lawrence- California- From Actor To Tennis Time Business Owner- Coach

Hello, my name is Lawrence Adisa and I’m born and raised in NY, and now living in sunny Los Angeles for the past 20 years. Growing up in NY I always loved playing sports and having fun with my friends. After graduating high school I really didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life until I saw a commercial on TV about “how to become an actor” and bingo, that was it, acting! So I started to pursue my acting career spending a lot of time Manhattan taking acting classes. I must say it paid off, I was able to book a number of TV and movie roles and before I knew it, I was a working actor. My agent at the time recommended that I head out to LA because there are tons of more roles for me compared to NY so, at the age of 25, I was off to LA. I left my family and friends behind to continue my dream!

                     

The next 20 years in LA have been awesome professionally, but nothing compares to meeting my wife Camille and starting a family! I’ve been married for over 5 years now with 2 kids, Zeniyah (13) and Mazin (6 months). After giving over 25 years of my life to showbiz, I wanted to try another career that still gave me the flexibility that I was used to but more consistent and with hard work great earning potential. That’s when I discovered Tennis Time, I knew that this is what I wanted to do next and I wasted no time in getting started. I wanted a new career that wouldn’t have me stuck in an office from 9-5 with a boss looking over me. I already love tennis, golf and kids so Tennis Time was a perfect fit!
